On August 16th, PHC Academy@IPC, under Pose Healthcare Co., Ltd., organized a training session on "Principles and Practices in Infection Prevention and Control in Hospitals."

The session featured keynote speakers including Dr. Pisit Uirungroj, Professor Dr. Akeau Unahalekhaka, and Mr. Charkrin Wadeeintawong During the event, the participants of the program received the first edition of the PHC Academy LAO1 shirt, and hand hygiene training equipment was donated to Setthathirath Hospital, Mahosot Hospital, Mittraphap Hospital, and the Department of Pinpua. The training also covered topics related to hand hygiene culture and hospital infection prevention to prepare all staff for Global Handwashing Day in the upcoming October. The session was led by Associate Professor Dr. Kamthorn Malatham from the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and took place at the Mittraphap Hospital conference room in Vientiane.
